HSNY’s 12,000-volume library covers the breadth of horticultural subjects from gardening basics to urban greenroof technology.

With thousands of volumes on all aspects of gardens and gardening, The HSNY Library informs and inspires gardeners, students, and casual browsers along with professional artists, designers, horticulturists, and writers.

Throughout the year the Library also hosts public programs that enlighten and delight including informal presentations by garden writers, lectures and panel discussions.

Access: Open to the public Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm; HSNY Members enjoy borrowing privileges.
