New York Transit Museum Boerum Place and Schermerhorn Street Brooklyn, New York Located in downtown Brooklyn, the Transit Museum is housed in an historic 1930s subway station. The Museum collects, exhibits and interprets the history, sociology and technology of public transportation systems in the New York region served by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, including bridges, tunnels, subways, buses and commuter railroads.
Access:	Tues.-Fri. 10-4; Sat. and Sun. 12-5 Closed Mon
Fees:	$3 adults; $1.50 children and seniors; free to seniors 12-4 on Wed
