"Lower East Side Oral Histories," a new book by Nina Howes and Lower East Side History Project's Eric Ferrara, documents the memories of twenty-five people from diverse backgrounds who experienced life in one of the 20th century's most vibrant and complex neighborhoods. Meet authors as well as interviewees whose life stories and personal photos were documented for the project, including Rebecca Lepkoff, Nilda Rivera and Frankie Alexander.
