I was looking to find some more information on a couple
of clothing companies/businesses in New York in the
early to mid 70s. One clothing company called JJ Flash;
was owned by Craig Malcomson and Andy Digiacomo.
After JJ Flash closed, Craig and his wife, Marcharlene
opened Angry Albert/Next which was on the Bowery,
adjacent from CBGB's. I was trying to find out more info
as to Craigs and Marcharlens whereabouts.
I'm researching about American Boutiques of the early
70s from New York to California and eventually want to
write a book on some of the really amazing stores that
were around then. Both of these places mentioned were
special and unique to New York and the clothing of that
Anyone who might want to help with any information, old
pictures, were a employee or a store owner, old clothes
from New York or any boutiques of the early 70s; I would
love to hear from you.
