It is a bit interesting how roads and structures get named and then are referenced. The Deegan is usually just that, i.e. "The Deegan". The George Washington bridge is usually the "GW" or the "GW Bridge". The Lincoln and Holland tunnels are always referenced in that form.
In Philadelphia, where Lincoln Financial Services paid for the naming rights of the new Eagles football stadium, the official name is Lincoln Financial Services Field (or something close) but it is usually called "The Link". I thought it comical when the CEO of the financial services company asked the fans to be respectful of Old Abe and call it by its full name ... as if he ever wanted his name of either a bank or a football stadium.
