The person referred to seems to have a recollection of some period in NYC history when the four locations were thriving. What period would that have been? Bedford-Stuyvesant, I know, has a place of historical and cultural distinction in black history, but, in what period? The old Dodger stadium? I associate Coney Island's glory right up to WWII.
