I just heard on the news that the balloons in the Macy's day parade will not be inflated and fly in the parade. The winds have been too severe to let them fly safely. It's a shame because so many of us big kids always look forward to the balloon show.
Looks like the Northeast is getting the same storm that came through the west last weekend. We got heavy wind and rain along with cold weather. The upper portions of the mountains got the snow. Todays forecast in the desert calls for sunshine with temps. in the low 70's. I can handle that!
I'm glad to hear the balloons are flying in the parade.
