I have also been wondering about the history of Gotham Hospital. I was born there in 1936 and my birth certificate shows an address for the hospital of 30 E. 76th St. I have lived in the western US since I was two so don't know where that would be in NYC.
An interesting note: my parents had no car so the doctor picked them up and drove them in from Flushing in his car. What a house call!
I also was born in the Gotham Hospital in 1936 (Oct. 16th) and would love to get together with others who were born there. I believe my parents were living in Flushing at the time. I was later raised in Bayside. Am presently a resident at the Jersey Shore..
